For some reason, Ben and I always give our children their first baths late. True had hers at like 2 months and she had to settle for lots of sponge baths and wipe downs before that. Brave got hers at a little over 1 month and now it was Soul's turn. Luckily, she got hers at one month and it was definitely about time!
Her first bath wasn't so bad, some crying here and some quiet moments there, but overall my little Soul did pretty good.

Now, my baby is so fresh and so clean clean! Well, until her next spit up, which in this case was right after she got her clean shirt on. This little baby spits up so much! I don't remember the other girls being like that, but every kid is different.
Spit up or clean, my baby still smells pretty good.

she is adorable! and already growing up so fast!
oh Ruby, she is BEAUTIFUL. She's such a little gorgeous girls :) Symphony spit up once, Bella spit up here and there, and Dom spit up EVERY single time he nursed :( You're very right, each one is different.
Thank you for sharing Soul's first little bath. Please give her kissies from the Aguiar family XOXOXOX
I love the socks on True's hands.
Cute as always! :) I also have pics of my 3 girls first baths b/c that was always a big moment that I liked to record. It seems like with every pic Soul is changing but she remains so beautiful. I want her hair... all of my girls were baldies.
AW...SHE IS TOO CUTE...SUCH A MIX OF BRAVE AND TRUE...
She looks so different! She is chubba wubba!
i love her little belly!
i KNEW a bath had to have just been had when i saw your cakies post.
my first one projectile vomited on a regular basis due to reflux. he was through doing that at about five or six months, fortunately.
my second spit up until my pediatrician pointed out that my boobs were totally loaded (meaning big) and i was probably overfeeding him - uh, DOH! i felt so stupid. it had been five years since his brother was a newborn. sometimes you forget that they don't know that they should stop nursing even if they are super full, because they nurse also because it comforts them. so i had to learn to stop him after i assessed that he had filled up enough.
eleanor threw up all of the time when she was a newborn. she didn't have reflux. she wasn't overeating. turned out she was allergic to the proteins in dairy products i was eating (not lactose intolerant, that's different). as soon as i stopped eating dairy products (which was so hard for me, but easy since i hated to see her so helpless to defend herself against mommy's diet), she was spit up free.
ahhh... the mammaries! ha ha ha.
hugs to you!
